LANGUNE, going forward

2023 was a year of consolidation for LANGUNE, both further afield and at home. On the home front, Natural Vox and bai&by joined the Association of Language Industries as members, and LANGUNE signed a collaboration agreement with ANETI, the National Association of Translation and Interpreting Companies, to be able to help each other in projects of interest for the sector.
Further afield, LANGUNE participated in several congresses and events:
-
The conferences ‘#Artificial Intelligence is changing the world’ and ‘The new opportunities offered by Natural Language Processing', organised by PERTE New Language Economy.
-
The IV ANETI Congress
-
The SEPLN 2023 XXXIX International Congress of the Spanish Society for Natural Language Processing.
-
Translating Europe Forum.
-
BDCC Thursdays.
-
International Basque Day.
Early in 2024 LANGUNE handled the technical secretariat of the Languages Lanean Congress, organized by the Basque Government, and will be developing many other projects and actions throughout the year. A project that combines active aging, loneliness and language technologies, among other things; and a study of high-impact tools. In November, in collaboration with the Federal Union of European Nationalities (FUEN) LANGUNE will be organising the two-day Forum on European Minority Regions hosted by Donostia-San Sebastian.
