Types of members: company, business group and association/organisation.

Company

Participants in this section are sub-sectoral companies in the Language Industry Association. Through the committees, they work on tasks and strategic projects that the executive committee needs to develop. They are the direct beneficiaries of the programmes and rights offered by the Association.

Characteristics:

  • They are members of a sub-sector of the Language Industry.
  • The company's headquarters are located in the BAC (Basque Autonomous Community).

Business group

A group made up of companies that have the profile of ordinary members; they need to be linked to each other (some reporting to others) and the need to be united with respect to directions and aims. They enjoy the benefits of ordinary membes.

Characteristics:

  • They are members of a sub-sector of the Language Industry.
  • The company's headquarters are located in the BAC (Basque Autonomous Community).
  • The main company or group has a stake in the capital of the others.

Association / Organisation

Universities, administrations, public and private organisations, other clusters and other companies and organisations linked to the sector can form this group which would need further specification. They need to share the Association's aims to a certain extent. They benefit from the Association's programmes and services.
